NOT ALL WATERS ARE CREATED EQUAL
Davren’s natural spring is located at the Simply Natural Canadian Spring Water source, which springs from a protected aquifer found deep in the pristine forest of Manitoba’s Sandilands. Water passes through miles of natural filtration of sand and gravel. Once the water reaches our facility and begins its journey to be bottled, it is tested throughout the day to ensure its quality and consistency. Our spring water never comes into human contact, so you can be assured that the water you drink from our bottles has the same clean, crisp taste as it does right at the spring source.

It was selected from many different spring waters around the world to win the 2001 Berkeley Springs International Gold Medal for Best Non-Carbonated Bottled water. A NATURAL WONDER IN THE WILDERNESS
Davren’s source lies deep in the heart of Sandilands Provincial Forest in southeastern Manitoba, on the outer edges of the Canadian Shield. One of the oldest geological regions on earth, the Canadian Shield’s origins date up to 3.5 billion years ago. The area is defined by a deep, common, and joined bedrock, covered by a thin layer of rich soil. The water travels through rock and large sand eskers left behind by the last ice age, which act as a natural filter.

Our bodies depend on water to survive. The average human body is up to 60% water. Every cell, tissue, and organ needs water to function properly. Water helps regulate our temperature, flushes out toxins from our vital organs, carries nutrients to our cells, lubricates our joints, and provides a moist environment for our ear, nose and throat tissues. Water is vital for good health. Our body loses water each day when we perspire, and even when we breathe.
We lose water even faster when the weather is really hot, when we are physically active, or have a fever. Without replacing the water we lose, we become dehydrated, which can cause fatigue, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, digestive disorders, bladder or kidney problems, and skin disorders. An average healthy adult. living in a temperate climate should have an average intake of 2.2 to 3 litres of water every day.
COMMITTED TO OUR ENVIRONMENT
We can all be a friend to the environment by the simple choices we make everyday. Reducing your carbon footprint starts with small steps, like recycling, and making smart choices with the products you buy. Davren uses 100% rPET (post-consumer) plastic for our bottles and our case packs don’t use any corrugated cardboard. Our bottles and caps are best in class in terms of weight. Since 2006 we have reduced the amount of plastic that goes into making our 500ml bottle and cap by more than 50% and 35%, respectively. So in simple terms, we are using the least amount of packaging material possible without sacrificing strength and quality. And the materials we use are planet friendly, just like we are.
